What are some things you do within your position?
My role as youth leader is about creating a space where teenagers can grow in their faith and feel a sense of belonging. On a practical level, that means I spend a lot of time preparing for our weekly gatherings. I plan lessons that are relevant to the challenges and questions young people face today, lead discussions, and organize fun activities to help everyone connect and have a good time.
What does it mean to you to be in the role within the church?
Being the youth leader is a huge honor and a calling I take seriously. For me, this role is a privilege—an opportunity to invest in the next generation and help them build a strong foundation of faith that will last a lifetime. My biggest hope is to foster a community where every teenager feels known, valued, and loved. It's a place where they can ask tough questions without judgment, find genuine friendships, and discover what it truly means to follow Jesus.
