What are some things you do within your position?

As Secretary and Treasurer for Mount Hermon Church of the Brethren, I am responsible for a wide range of administrative responsibilities including producing the weekly bulletins and monthly newsletters.  I handle most of the business and personal correspondence for the church and am responsible for most financial matters pertaining to church business.

What does it mean to you to be in the role within the church?

It is such a blessing and honor to have a vocation that serves both God and the local community!  I have always had a prodding feeling that my purpose in life was to serve within the church capacity.  After finally heeding to this call, it has brought such a purpose and peace to my soul to know that I am following the path that God has designed for my life!
